Agnieszka Doczynska
Agnieszka, a graphic design student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, uses her visual communication skills to address social and environmental challenges while supporting inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. Her innovative project is a card game designed to teach sign language and increase awareness of issues people with hearing impairments face. Through engaging gameplay, players learn sign language and gain insights into the daily lives of the Deaf community. The game’s dynamic format ensures that players can remember enough gestures to form basic sentences after just a few turns, making learning both accessible and impactful.

Agnieszka is a passionate creative who specialises in photography, editorial, design, and visual storytelling. Her work addresses important social and environmental issues, including pollution and climate change, and advocates for individuals with disabilities. She has collaborated with various art collectives and organisations promoting equality and tolerance.
Agnieszka’s project is a card game designed to teach sign language and raise awareness of the challenges people with hearing impairments face. Through the Creatives for Our Future programme, she developed prototypes and created educational and marketing materials for the game. She is now discussing with publishers to bring the game to market, with plans to make it accessible to organisations supporting the Deaf community.

Sustainability, for me, is all about conscious action. Actions that are taken based on ethical values and which, apart from our well-being and comfort, do not harm others or destroy our environment.
