Hassam is committed to developing sustainable solutions that address global environmental challenges. His project, Geo Air-Con, harnesses the stable temperatures found underground to reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources, contributing to tackling global warming.

Using the earth's natural cooling properties, Geo Air-Con offers an energy-efficient alternative to traditional air conditioning systems, significantly lowering energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Through the Creatives For Our Future programme, Hassam refined his product through multiple prototypes, improving its efficiency and adaptability. Recognising the broader potential of his product, he has successfully scaled Geo Air-Con for use in other industries, including agriculture, where it can regulate temperature for crops, optimising production while minimising environmental impact.

His work represents a step toward more sustainable practices across sectors, proving technology can be a powerful tool for combating climate change and creating environmental resilience.

Aiming for a two-in-one approach, the funding from Creatives For Our Future enabled me to raise awareness and inculcate interest in sustainable innovation through the lab and its products whilst also helping me to refine projects such as HempCo and GeoAirCon to take them towards mass market commercialization thus having a lasting impact and creating a revenue source to continue sustainable development.
